New CG shots

Hey guys, here's another WIP update on Andrew's police carrier.

We've done a test composite here on the bg plate and I added some glowing after burner effect. (The bg plate is a photo taken from the offices here at MTV!)

This isn't a clip from the final film, but just another test.

Enjoy!

Andrew's work is awesome and I love his attention to detail!

Andrew's work!!

Hey all, finally posted some updates of the CGI work! Click read more below or just click here!

Teaser is online!! check it out! (more soon..must sleep..so..very...tired.)

It'll give you a good idea of the story, but there hasn't been any decent color correction nor any fx work done yet! so there'll definitely be another one as we get more of that stuff done!

Andrew Glazebrook

I was born and live in the Teeside area of England, the same area that inspired Ridley Scott's visions of Blade Runner's Industrial Landscape seen at the beginning of that film.I've always been interested in art and movie making, and grew up in the 70's watching shows on TV like Star Trek,Space 1999,Captain Scarlet and Doctor Who. Like most people of my generation 1977 and the release of Star Wars only fuelled my interest in all things S/F and Fantastic.

Jeez, it takes freaking forever to log video! We had roughly 10 hours of video to go thru and log. Just started editing the first scene: the locker room.

sorry it's been quiet here for a while here are some progress report notes...

The editing process has begun!! We've also just done our own video press junket for the making-of documentaries and some video blogs we're working on!

Editing

All video is captured on my PC and I'm in the process of reviewing and logging all the video. Since we shot completely out of sequence, things are all over the place. Everytime I think I have a scene cut together, I realize I have more coverage and cooler angle or performance from the actor(s). I'm assembling the film using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. I've tried a couple basic visual effects to make sure I know what I need to know. It's been a while since I've done editing and fx work, and this is by far the largest project I've worked on, so hope it goes well!

Hey all,

I just listened to the our podcast coverage on Slice of Sci-fi! It was really cool! Listen for yourself!! Episode 041's discussion about regurgitated stories creates a fantastic segway into the story about our project! Here's the link: http://www.sliceofscifi.com/ Sometimes the site is swamped with traffic so keep trying if your browser doesn't resolve the url.
